POA&M Deadline & Aging Calculator
Calculate how long an open finding has been tracked and how many days remain until your team’s target completion date. Both dates stay in your browser.
Check your milestone timing
Enter only dates. Do not enter system names, sensitive security findings, or customer information.
How to interpret your result
The calculator compares the finding’s open date and your chosen target completion date against today’s local calendar date. A day count can support status reporting and follow-up scheduling, but it does not establish an official remediation deadline or prove that a weakness has been fixed.
Federal deadlines versus your own target: If your organization is subject to a CISA KEV directive, contract, or other requirement, determine the actual applicable due date independently. A CISA KEV catalog date is not automatically every private organization’s deadline. This tool uses only the date you enter.
What to do next
If an item is nearing its target date or overdue, confirm the accountable owner, blocked milestones, residual exposure, and evidence needed to verify remediation. Keep any sensitive POA&M record in your authorized internal systems, not on a public website.
For a more complete workflow, use the KEV response checklist or the scan findings to POA&M evidence guide.
The calculator operates entirely in the browser using the dates entered. It does not save dates, send them to our servers, or certify any control or system.
